Naparbier Aker
Naparbier Aker presents a vibrant sensory profile typical of a bold American IPA, bridging the gap between classic West Coast traditions and modern fruit-forward intensities. A heavy-hitting hop quartet of Chinook, Centennial, Amarillo, and Mosaic drives the experience. Expect a pungent olfactory bouquet of resinous pine and grapefruit zest, evolving into lush tropical mango and stone fruit notes. On the palate, the assertive bitterness is expertly balanced by a clean, lean malt backbone that allows the hop character to remain the protagonist. It finishes crisp and decidedly dry, leaving a lingering, refreshing trail of citrus oils and floral spice.
Appearance. Medium gold to polished light amber in color. Exhibits a slight modern haze while maintaining a dense, persistent white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop character featuring prominent grapefruit, orange peel, and resinous pine. Secondary layers of tropical melon and blueberry emerge, supported by a low, clean, grainy maltiness and neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of citrus zest and pine needles with a medium-high to high bitterness. Clean, grainy malt flavors provide a light toasted backdrop. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste of citrus rind and resin.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, resinous texture. Medium-high carbonation provides a crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. Very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated.
