This tropical American Pale Ale captures a vibrant sensory profile, blending the citrus-forward character of Citra and Amarillo hops with a lush fruit infusion. The base of Pale Ale malt, enhanced by the creamy textures of oat malt, oat flakes, and wheat flakes, provides a soft, pillowy foundation for the additions of coconut, lime, and pineapple purée. These ingredients evoke a piña colada-like brightness, where zesty lime cuts through the smooth, rich character of coconut. It presents a balanced bitterness that grounds the tropical sweetness, resulting in a modern, refreshing interpretation that emphasizes a clean hop-fruit synergy over malt depth.

Appearance. Pale golden to light amber (6–8 SRM). It features a persistent, fluffy white head with moderate lacing. The addition of flaked oats and wheat creates a characteristic slight to moderate haze, departing from the traditional clarity of the style.

Aroma. High intensity. Bright, zesty lime and tropical pineapple lead the bouquet, followed by a creamy, sweet scent of coconut. The Citra and Amarillo hops provide supporting notes of grapefruit and floral orange. A subtle, grainy-sweet malt presence from the oats offers a smooth, bready backdrop with very low yeast esters.

Taste. The initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit acidity from the pineapple and lime, quickly smoothed over by coconut. Hop flavors of tangerine and stone fruit are prominent. A moderate bitterness balances the fruit purées and supportive malt. The finish is clean and medium-dry, with a lingering note of citrus peel and coconut milk.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a noticeably creamy, silky texture derived from the oat malt and wheat flakes. Carbonation is moderate to high, providing a refreshing prickle that lifts the fruit flavors. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated.
