Nano Cinco Renard is a modern, silky American Pale Ale that masterfully bridges the gap between traditional balance and the hazy, fruit-forward profile of a New England-style ale. Utilizing a global hop blend, it features the distinct white wine and gooseberry character of Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand, the vibrant passion fruit notes of Australian Galaxy, and the pungent peach and citrus aromatics of Idaho 7. This combination creates a complex bouquet of Sauvignon Blanc and stone fruit. The mouthfeel is exceptionally smooth and polished, leading into a clean, moderately bitter finish that highlights the premium quality of the raw ingredients.
Appearance. Pale gold with a soft, hazy luminescence (6 SRM). Topped by a dense, persistent white head that leaves intricate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of white grape, crushed gooseberry, and ripe peach. Subtle citrus zest and tropical fruit undertones are supported by a low, neutral bready malt character and clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical and stone fruit, specifically peach and passion fruit. The mid-palate reveals the sophisticated Sauvignon Blanc character of the hops. A moderate bitterness provides structure without being harsh, balanced by a light, grainy malt backbone. The finish is medium-dry and clean, with a lingering citrus aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a characteristic silky, soft texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle prickle, while the 5.9% ABV offers a very light, well-integrated warmth without any astringency.
