Nano Cinco Raiponce
NEIPA - New England IPA 6.3 º
Raiponce presents as a vibrant Hazy IPA, defined by a luminous, pale foundation of Heidelberg malt. This German malt provides a clean, lean canvas that allows the complex hop profile to radiate. A transatlantic blend of American and New Zealand Cascade creates a bridge of bright citrus, while the addition of Nelson Sauvin from Freestyle Hops imparts distinct notes of crushed gooseberry and Sauvignon blanc grapes. Mosaic Cryo from Yakima Chief intensifies the experience with saturated layers of tropical guava and punchy citrus. The result is a juice-forward profile with a plush, pillowy texture that showcases biotransformation and a modern, hop-forward elegance.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (approx. 4 SRM); opaque with a soft, hazy shine; features a persistent, meringue-like white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity of tropical fruit and white wine notes. Dominant Sauvignon blanc and gooseberry from Nelson Sauvin, complemented by guava and grapefruit citrus from Mosaic Cryo. A clean, light bready malt backbone from the Heidelberg malt remains in the background with no caramel character.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical guava and passion fruit. The mid-palate reveals distinct white grape and citrus zest flavors. Low to medium-low bitterness is smooth and never harsh, balanced by a soft, bready malt presence. The finish is off-dry and pillowy, with a lingering juice-like aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated, with zero astringency or hop burn.
