Nano Cinco Orange Hill is a vibrant Vermont-inspired American IPA that pays homage to the legendary craft of the Northeast. A complex hop bouquet of Citra, Mosaic, and Azacca delivers a rush of tropical mango, blueberry, and resinous pine, seamlessly integrated with the zesty, tangy infusion of blood orange. While leaning into juicy territory, it maintains a classic backbone of firm bitterness and a lean malt profile. This balance ensures a crisp, refreshing finish that distinguishes it from softer haze-focused examples, offering a sensory journey of sun-ripened citrus and pungent New World hops.
Appearance. Medium gold to light reddish-amber with a slight, persistent haze. Features a medium-sized, off-white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; dominant notes of blood orange zest, tropical mango, and ripe stone fruit from the Citra and Mosaic hops. Underlying hints of pine and berry are supported by a clean, low grainy maltiness.
Taste. Initial impression of juicy tropical fruit and sharp citrus. Strong hop flavors of grapefruit and melon transition into a firm, clean bitterness. The blood orange provides a subtle tartness that complements the Azacca hops’ spicy notes. Finishes dry with a lingering, resinous hop character.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Moderate carbonation provides a crisp bite, accompanied by a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
