This Double New England IPA delivers a vibrant sensory experience defined by a lush, tropical core. Utilizing premium hops from Freestyle Hops, the profile showcases the distinctive character of NZ Cascade, Nelson Sauvin, and Riwaka. The result is a complex aromatic explosion of passion fruit, crushed lime, and distinctive Sauvignon Blanc white grape notes. An underlying soft, grainy malt sweetness supports the intense hop load without overshadowing it. Despite its 8.1% strength, the beer remains approachable, finishing with a smooth, velvety texture and a gentle, integrated alcohol warmth that enhances the overall fruit-forward intensity and hop-saturated depth.

Appearance. 4–6 SRM. Pale gold to light orange; opaque with a thick, permanent haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent, creamy white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward profile featuring pungent passion fruit, grapefruit zest, and a distinct vinous white grape character. Subtle lime and floral notes emerge from the NZ Cascade. Malt is low and neutral, providing a soft bready background. Fermentation is clean with very light, supportive stone fruit esters.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit juice. Strong flavors of gooseberry, melon, and citrus predominate. Malt flavor is low and soft, suggesting flour-like or bready notes. Bitterness is moderate and smooth, providing enough structure to balance the fruitiness without being harsh. Finish is medium-dry with a lingering, juicy tropical aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. Noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth that is well-integrated. No harsh hop-derived astringency.
