Mask Off is a luscious Hazy IPA that prioritizes soft texture and tropical saturation. The grist, heavy with oats and unmalted wheat, provides a pillowy foundation for an explosive hop profile. Leading with ID158 (Pink), the aroma and palate are drenched in ripe mango and zesty grapefruit. Riwaka and Azacca contribute further layers of tropical complexity and a bright citrus finish. While intensely hop-forward, subtle undertones of honey and a faint suggestion of vanilla emerge from the interplay of malt and New World hops. It is a smooth, juicy experience with restrained bitterness, celebrating the vibrant biotransformation of its Jackson Hop Farm cultivars.

Appearance. Color is a hazy, opaque straw to light orange with a luminous shine. It supports a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent mango and grapefruit. Low bready and grainy malt character from the oats and wheat is present in the background, complemented by light honey and vanilla-like esters.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with intense mango and citrus rind. Low bready malt flavor provides a soft sweetness. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate, well-masked by the protein-rich body, leading to a soft, off-dry finish with lingering tropical fruit.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a very smooth, soft, and slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without any harshness or astringency.
