This Imperial Stout presents an opulent sensory journey centered on a massive double-dose of vanilla. The integration of organic Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar and organic vanilla from Uganda creates a multi-layered aromatic profile that weaves floral and creamy spice through a robust base of roasted malts. Expect deep olfactory cues of dark cocoa and freshly roasted coffee beans that transition into a decadent, moderately sweet palate. The high viscosity and velvety texture support intense flavors of bittersweet chocolate and toasted grain, culminating in a smooth, warming finish where the distinct vanilla character lingers alongside a refined hop bitterness.

Appearance. Jet black and completely opaque (40 SRM). Pours with a dense, persistent dark tan head that leaves significant lacing on the glass. High viscosity is apparent through visible legs when the beer is swirled.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics dominated by a lush, aromatic blend of Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar and Uganda. Supporting the spice are deep notes of bittersweet chocolate, dark-roasted coffee, and a hint of charred grain. Subdued dark fruit esters like prunes are present, alongside a clean, smooth alcohol presence.

Taste. Rich initial impression of creamy vanilla and dark cocoa. The malt profile is complex, featuring prominent coffee and toasted bread flavors. Bitterness is moderate but tempered by a moderate residual sweetness and the rounding effect of the vanilla. The finish is long and harmonious, balancing roasted grain astringency with a sweet, spicy vanilla aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and chewy with a luscious, velvety texture. Carbonation is low to moderate, enhancing the beer's creamy weight. A gentle, smooth alcohol warmth is present but remains well-integrated without being sharp or solventy.
