The Bru-1 hop delivers distinctive notes of ripe pineapple and guava, while Galaxy introduces punchy layers of passion fruit. Nelson Sauvin provides a sophisticated counterpoint with its hallmark Sauvignon Blanc and crushed white grape character. The experience is exceptionally rich and silky, reflecting a soft malt backbone that supports the intense hop load without becoming heavy. Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7-9 SRM). Opaque to heavy haze typical of the New England style. Large, persistent, creamy white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring prominent guava, pineapple, and tropical fruit from Bru-1 and Galaxy. Distinctive vinous, white grape notes from Nelson Sauvin are highly apparent. Low, neutral to bready malt in the background with a clean fermentation profile and a subtle, smooth alcohol presence.
Taste. Immediate impact of tropical passion fruit and sweet pineapple. The mid-palate reveals guava and gooseberry nuances, finishing with a lingering Sauvignon Blanc character. Malt flavor is low but supportive and soft. Bitterness is firm but smooth, lacking harshness, leading to a medium-dry, hop-saturated aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a characteristic silky, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation and a gentle, well-integrated alcohol warmth consistent with its strength. No hop-derived astringency or harshness.
