This German Pils draws inspiration from the rustic Zoigl traditions of the Upper Palatinate, offering a refreshing profile elevated by a local infusion of Lemon Verbena. The sensory experience is anchored by a clean Continental Pilsner malt base, providing notes of doughy crackers and light honey. While traditional German hops contribute their characteristic floral and spicy nuances, the profile is vibrantly enhanced by the citrusy, herbal brightness of the verbena. It pours a brilliant deep yellow with a persistent white head. Crisp and dry, the finish balances a moderate bitterness with a lingering lemony zest, creating a sophisticated and approachable lager.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3 SRM); brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.

Aroma. Moderately-high intensity with prominent herbal and citrus notes from the Lemon Verbena. Underlying notes of floral and spicy German hops are balanced by a medium grainy-sweet, doughy malt character with a hint of toasted cracker. Very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial malt sweetness is quickly overtaken by a bright citrus and herbal flavor. Grainy-sweet malt notes of bread and crackers support a medium-high hop bitterness. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering lemon zest and spicy hop aftertaste. Clean fermentation with a slight minerality.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation that feels prickly and refreshing on the tongue. No perceived alcohol warmth; smooth and clean with a slight flinty sharpness in the finish.
