This celebratory Double IPA radiates an intense southern hemisphere character, driven by an ambitious blend of Manilita and Superdelic hops. The addition of Mega Terps—featuring Motueka, Southern Cross, Rakau, and Phantasm—unleashes a torrential sensory profile of ripe papaya and zesty grapefruit. Despite its formidable strength, the beer maintains a lush, velvet-like texture. The Phantasm contribution enhances the tropical thiol presence, layering the experience with nuanced Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grape notes. High-intensity citrus and stone fruit dominate the palate, supported by a subtle, clean malt backbone that allows the New Zealand cultivars to remain the vibrant centerpiece.
Appearance. 6–10 SRM. Pours a deep gold with a persistent, creamy white head and significant haze characteristic of the modern style.
Aroma. Intense hop aroma defined by tropical fruit and citrus. Prominent notes of papaya, grapefruit, and passion fruit are bolstered by a subtle, clean, grainy maltiness. Low fermentation esters and a noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth.
Taste. Initial punch of tropical fruit hops followed by a firm, supportive bitterness. Flavors of pink grapefruit and overripe papaya are front and center. The malt character is neutral and unobtrusive, leading to a smooth, medium-dry finish with a lingering tropical and resinous hop aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Full body with a thick, creamy texture and moderate carbonation. A smooth, warming alcohol presence is evident but lacks any harsh or solventy edges.

24 mois est une Triple New England IPA houblonnée sans retenue aux cultivars Manilita et Superdelic, puis au nouveau produit enrichi en thiol de chez Freestyle Hops, le Mega Terps.
Ce dernier est un mélange de Motueka, de Southern Cross, de Rakau et de Phantasm (poudre de raisins Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc) créé pour apporter le plus de terpènes possible, composante chimique similaire aux huiles essentielles, et ainsi accroitre les arômes tropicaux de la bière.
Cette bière épaisse et particulièrement aromatique développe notamment des notes de pamplemousse et de papaye.
