This American IPA delivers an intense sensory experience driven by a selection of Simcoe, Mosaic, Strata, and Idaho 7 hops. The aroma leads with a complex blend of passionfruit, ripe mango, and dank resin, underpinned by a subtle citrus zest and pine needles. On the palate, the vibrant tropical fruit character transitions into a firm, clean bitterness characteristic of the style. Supporting notes of light, crackery malt provide a lean foundation, allowing the nuanced berry and stone fruit layers to persist into a dry, crisp finish. It is a bold, hop-forward tribute with a profile as layered as the melodic death metal that inspired it.

Appearance. Color is a clear, medium gold to light amber (7-8 SRM). It features a medium-sized, off-white head with excellent persistence and significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with prominent notes of grapefruit, pine, and tropical fruit such as passionfruit and mango. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral background. Fermentation profile is very clean with negligible esters.

Taste. Initial impression is decidedly hop-forward with high hop flavors of tangerine, apricot, and resinous pine. Low, crackery malt flavor supports a medium-high to high bitterness that remains clean throughout. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture and moderate to high carbonation. A very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated. Zero astringency.
