Pouring a bright straw-gold, it releases a moderate-to-high intensity bouquet of zesty citrus, ripe sweet fruit, and a distinct touch of forest resin. The simple grain bill provides a crisp, grainy-sweet foundation that allows the unique New World hop profile to take center stage. Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (3-5 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a moderately large, bright white head featuring good retention and fine lacing.
Aroma. Moderate-high hop intensity showcasing sweet mandarin, lime zest, and stone fruit, supported by a distinct resinous pine note. Low, clean, grainy-sweet malt character provides a neutral base. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.
Taste. Initial impression of crisp, bready malt followed quickly by prominent flavors of citrus peel and tropical fruit. Moderate to high bitterness provides a firm structure that is never harsh. The Pale Pilsner malt contributes a light cracker-like flavor. The finish is dry and clean, with a lingering hop character of resin and citrus.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate-high carbonation, creating a lively and scrubbing mouthfeel. Smooth finish without astringency; very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
