This refreshing Saison presents a vivid light orange hue capped by a beautiful, persistent white foam. The aromatic profile is led by a sophisticated blend of fruity-spicy yeast character, where clear notes of ripe pear and crisp apple mingle with a distinct white pepper phenolic edge. On the palate, the experience is defined by high attenuation, delivering a bone-dry and exceptionally drinkable finish. Soft, grainy malt provides a subtle foundation for the pome fruit flavors and moderate hop bitterness to shine. Appearance. Light orange (approximately 7-9 SRM) with slight haze typical of an unfiltered ale. Topped with a dense, rocky, long-lasting white head that leaves significant Belgian lace on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring prominent pome fruit esters of pear and red apple. These are balanced by a clear, spicy phenolic character reminiscent of white pepper. Low earthy and floral hop notes are present alongside a soft, grainy malt sweetness.
Taste. The initial impression is crisp and fruity, following the aroma with flavors of apple and pear. A moderate hop bitterness is present but well-integrated, leading to a very dry, clean finish. The fermentation character is dominant, providing a spicy, peppery aftertaste with a faint rustic graininess.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with very high, effervescent carbonation. Provides a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any harshness or astringency.
