Modern meets traditional in this vibrant Kellerpils, where classic German lager craftsmanship is elevated by four separate additions of US Citra hops. The result is a brilliantly refreshing pale blond lager that balances a naturally cloudy, rustic appearance with an incredibly bright, contemporary bouquet. Inviting notes of zesty lemon peel, elderflower, and fresh citrus dominate the nose. On the palate, a slender, crackery malt base provides a clean canvas for a crisp, lively carbonation and a refined, lingering bitterness. It is a wonderfully spritzy, thirst-quenching interpretation of a German Pils that feels both rustic and incredibly clean.

Appearance. Light blond color (3 SRM). Naturally cloudy and unfiltered with a moderate, uniform haze. Crowned by a dense, thick, billowy white head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.

Aroma. Moderately high, forward hop aroma characterized by bright notes of fresh lemon zest, grapefruit, and sweet elderflower from the Citra hops. Beneath the citrus showcase lies a low, clean, crackery and doughy Pilsner malt sweetness. Fermentation profile is exceptionally clean with no yeast-derived esters or sulfur.

Taste. An initial impression of clean, light cracker malt flavor is rapidly overtaken by bold, juicy citrus peel and elderflower hop notes. Refined, fine-herb bitterness is moderate, balancing the lean malt skeleton. The finish is dry, crisp, and highly effervescent, leaving a clean, lingering memory of citrusy hops and smooth, crisp bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a soft, slightly unfiltered smoothness on the tongue. Carbonation is high and lively, imparting a crisp, spritzy feel. No alcohol warmth is perceived at 5.3% ABV, and there is no harshness or astringency.
