This modern American Stout is a sessionable collaboration that balances deep roasted intensities with a vibrant hop profile. The sensory experience opens with an aromatic blend of dark chocolate and espresso, underscored by the unmistakable citrus and resinous pine of American hops. On the palate, the roasted malt character provides a bittersweet foundation of cocoa and charred grain, which is sharply countered by a firm bitterness. Despite its approachable 4% ABV, the beer maintains a smooth, creamy texture and a clean, dry finish, offering a complex interplay between traditional dark malt depth and contemporary hop-forward brightness.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque with a large, persistent head of light tan foam that leaves thick lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring prominent roasted coffee and dark chocolate notes. This is complemented by a moderate hop aroma of citrus peel and resinous pine. Fermentation is clean with very low fruity esters.

Taste. Initial impression is of bittersweet roasted grain, tasting of coffee beans and dark chocolate. Medium-high bitterness is present throughout, supported by citrus and pine hop flavors. The finish is dry with a lingering roasted malt character and a hint of resin.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth, somewhat creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate-high. No alcohol warmth is perceived, and there is only a very low, pleasant roast-derived astringency.
