A collaboration between Mount Brewing Co and Altitude Brewing, this German Pils delivers a sharp, revitalizing experience tailored for the mountains or the coast. It presents a brilliant straw hue and a persistent creamy head. The aromatic profile is headlined by moderately high floral and spicy hops, resting on a clean foundation of toasted cracker and light honey notes from Pilsner malt. The palate leads with a brief grainy sweetness before being swept away by a firm, refreshing bitterness. Its finish is remarkably dry and crisp, accented by a subtle minerally character and a clean, lingering hop presence.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (3 SRM); brilliant clarity; large, creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity flowery, herbal, and spicy hop character; low grainy-sweet malt aroma with notes of toasted cracker and a hint of honey; exceptionally clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial crisp malt sweetness reminiscent of white bread and crackers, quickly overtaken by firm, clean hop bitterness; hop flavors reflect the spicy and floral aroma; very dry, well-attenuated finish; bitterness lingers pleasantly into the aftertaste without being harsh.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; high carbonation providing a crisp, scrubbing sensation; very clean and refreshing; a subtle minerally sharpness enhances the dry finish; negligible alcohol warmth despite the slightly elevated ABV.
