This special Blonde Ale balances a foundation of rich British malt with a vibrant, tropical profile driven by Southern Hemisphere hops. The star is the rare Riwaka hop, which imparts intense notes of passion fruit and grapefruit, supported by the complex berry and stone fruit nuances of Galaxy and Enigma. Despite its low ABV, it offers a sophisticated sensory experience where the soft, biscuity malt sweetness provides a clean backdrop for the punchy, resinous hop character. Refreshing and approachable, it finishes dry with a lingering citrus zest, embodying a modern, hop-forward interpretation of a classic golden pint.

Appearance. Deep gold color (approx. 5 SRM) with a slight, natural haze. Features a persistent, creamy white head with excellent retention and light lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity hop aroma featuring distinct notes of passion fruit, grapefruit, and subtle berry. Supporting this is a light to moderate malt character of toasted biscuit and honey. Clean fermentation profile with very low esters.

Taste. Initial soft maltiness of fresh bread and light biscuit. Hop flavors of grapefruit pith and tropical melon dominate the mid-palate. Medium-low bitterness is well-integrated, balancing the subtle malt sweetness without being aggressive. Finishes crisp and medium-dry with a clean, lingering citrus aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation providing a refreshing, lively mouthfeel. Smooth texture with no perceptible alcohol warmth and no astringency.
