This West Coast IPA pours a striking copper, presenting a bold sensory bridge between heritage resin and modern tropicality. The classic trifecta of Chinook, Columbus, and Cascade leads the charge, delivering pungent layers of sticky pine, resin, and zesty grapefruit. This foundational bitterness is layered with the contemporary flair of Strata and Amarillo, which introduce vibrant notes of fresh orange, passion fruit, and a distinctively dank herbal edge. A clean malt backbone supports the assertive hop bite, culminating in a dry, lingering finish that defines this clean and balanced execution of a modern American IPA.

Appearance. Deep gold to copper (10–12 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Topped by a dense, persistent off-white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma. Initial hits of dank resin and pine needles from Chinook and Columbus are balanced by the citrusy zest of Cascade. Tropical undertones of passion fruit from Strata and sweet orange from Amarillo follow. Low, clean, toasted malt sweetness provides a subtle background, with a very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. The palate is dominated by a sharp, satisfying hop bitterness. Bold flavors of grapefruit peel and resinous pine transition into more nuanced notes of tropical fruit and dank herbs. The malt character is low to medium, offering a grainy, lightly toasted support. Finishes very dry and crisp with a long-lasting, clean bitterness and residual citrus pith.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from hop resins. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing prickle. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated, with no harsh astringency.
