Crush It presents a vibrant, hop-forward sensory experience that leans into the tropical and resinous depths of its modern hop profile. Pronounced aromas of passion fruit and sharp citrus from the Galaxy hops lead the charge, supported by the complex stone fruit and pine notes of Idaho 7. The addition of Cryo Mosaic intensifies the aromatic impact with concentrated blueberry and tropical nuances. This American IPA is defined by a light-colored, lean malt base that allows the high hop bitterness to take center stage. It finishes crisp, dry, and clean, emphasizing a refreshing, assertive character that highlights the precision of the hop-driven design.
Appearance. Color is pale to medium gold (6 SRM). The beer exhibits excellent clarity with only a very faint, shimmering haze from dry-hopping. It is topped by a medium-sized, bright white head with strong persistence and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of passion fruit, pineapple, and citrus zest. Secondary aromas include pine resin, apricot, and a hint of tropical berry. The malt character is low, presenting as clean, crackery, and grainy. The fermentation profile is very clean with no detectable yeast esters.
Taste. The initial impression is a burst of tropical fruit—guava and passion fruit—followed by peach and resinous pine. The malt flavor is low, providing a neutral, grainy-sweet foundation that quickly gives way to a firm, medium-high bitterness. The balance is decidedly hop-forward. It finishes very dry and crisp with a lingering, clean bitterness and a citrusy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively prickle on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated. There is no hop harshness or astringency.
