This session-strength Saison offers a vibrant, modern interpretation of the classic farmhouse style. At a refreshing 4% ABV, it presents a delicate grain bill that allows the double dry hopping to shine. Nelson Sauvin contributes distinctive notes of crushed white grapes and gooseberries, while Bramling Cross adds a nuanced layer of blackcurrant and subtle herbal spice. These hop traits interlace with a classic peppery yeast profile and a hint of pome fruit esters. Exceptionally dry and effervescent, the experience is defined by its crisp drinkability and a bright, hop-forward finish that remains rooted in traditional Belgian fermentation character.

Appearance. Pale gold (4 SRM) with a slight haze from the double dry hopping. Features a long-lasting, dense, rocky white head with excellent Belgian lacing.

Aroma. High intensity with a complex mix of fruity-spicy yeast and modern hops. Nelson Sauvin provides white wine and gooseberry notes, while Bramling Cross offers earthy spice and blackcurrant. Fermentation provides moderate black pepper phenols and light pear esters over a low, grainy malt background.

Taste. Initial impression is crisp and bone-dry. Low grainy malt flavor supports medium-high hop flavors of gooseberry, herbal spice, and dark berries. Bitterness is moderate but accentuated by the high attenuation. Finishes very dry and clean with a lingering peppery yeast character and a touch of hop resin.

Mouthfeel. Light body with very high carbonation and an effervescent, prickly sensation on the tongue. No alcohol warmth is present; low hop-derived astringency adds to the dry finish.
