This organic English IPA presents a refined equilibrium between traditional hop character and a supportive malt backbone. The sensory experience is defined by a prominent floral bouquet and subtle notes of orange zest, characteristic of classic British hop varieties. Underneath the floral top notes, a foundation of bready and lightly toasted biscuity malt provides depth without overshadowing the assertive bitterness. At 6.5% ABV, it carries a gentle, integrated warmth that enhances the medium-bodied structure. The finish is remarkably dry and clean, allowing a lingering, spicy hop resin to persist elegantly on the palate, perfectly capturing the style's signature balance.
Appearance. Ranging from golden to deep amber with brilliant clarity. It features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with good lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to moderately-high intensity featuring floral, spicy-peppery, and citrus-orange hop notes. Supported by medium-low bready and biscuity malt character with low yeast-derived fruitiness.
Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of flowers and orange peel followed by a medium-low bready and toasty malt flavor. Assertive hop bitterness (40-60 IBU) leads into a medium-dry to very dry finish. Bitterness lingers cleanly in the aftertaste with subtle mineral notes.
Mouthfeel. Smooth, medium body with medium-high carbonation providing a dry sensation. A low, smooth alcohol warmth is present without any hop-derived astringency.
