This Hazy IPA highlights the singular, vibrant profile of Galaxy hops. It pours with a luminous, opaque glow, releasing an intense bouquet of passion fruit, sun-ripened peach, and zesty citrus. The aroma is purely fruit-driven, supported by a subtle, bready malt backbone. On the palate, the Galaxy hops deliver layers of tropical complexity, leaning into pineapple and guava notes with a soft, restrained bitterness. A plush, velvety mouthfeel defines the experience, leading to an off-dry finish that emphasizes juice-like qualities over sharp resin. It is a harmonious expression of modern hopping techniques and balanced fermentation character.
Appearance. Luminous straw to deep gold (4-6 SRM); opaque, uniform haze providing a healthy shine. Massive, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and thick, trailing lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics dominated by tropical fruit; distinct passion fruit and peach. Secondary notes of ruby red grapefruit and a hint of pineapple. Malt is low and bready; no caramel or toast. Clean fermentation with subtle fruity esters that complement the hops.
Taste. Explosive tropical fruit flavors echoing the aroma—passion fruit and citrus zest are prominent. Malt provides a neutral, grainy base that allows the hops to shine. Bitterness is low to moderate, well-integrated and never harsh. Finishes soft and off-dry with a lingering tropical fruit essence.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Very smooth with no astringency or hop burn. A light, pleasant alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated.
