Juteux presents a sophisticated evolution of the Saison style, elevated by significant maturation in oak wine barrels and a generous infusion of Apricots. The sensory journey begins with an explosion of stone fruit aromatics, underscored by a rustic, grainy malt backbone and a delicate lactic tartness. Oak aging imparts a subtle vanillin and tannin structure that balances the vibrant acidity. Its refermentation in the bottle produces a lively, champagne-like effervescence that scrubs the palate, leading to a bone-dry finish. This strong ale harmonizes Belgian yeast esters with the succulent character of the fruit, creating a complex, bright, and deeply refreshing profile.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange (7–9 SRM); large, rocky, ivory head with exceptional retention and thick Belgian lacing; hazy and unfiltered with visible effervescence.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant aromas of fresh and dried Apricots over a spicy, peppery yeast profile. Moderate lactic acidity provides a lemony brightness, while oak aging adds subtle notes of dry wood and white wine. Malt is low and grainy.

Taste. Initial impression is tart and fruity with intense Apricot flavors. Malt is low, providing a soft, cracker-like foundation. Hop flavor is low with an earthy, spicy quality.
