Thomas Caffrey first established his brewery in Queen Street, Belfast in 1987. Fast forward to 1994 and Caffrey’s Premium Irish Ale was launched, promising to be as cold as lager, smooth as stout and with the flavour of ale. It became an instant success with the help of the famous ‘New York’ advert. Caffrey’s Premium Irish Ale has a luxurious silky texture, uncovering hints of banoffee pie, rich malt loaf and juicy red apples.
