This Belgian-style Witbier presents a vibrant sensory journey, beginning with a zippy, citrus-forward invitation. The use of Marionette bitter curacao orange peel provides a sophisticated, zesty fruitiness that interlaces with the perfumy, lemony notes of coriander seed. Its wheat-driven base offers a soft, pillowy texture across the palate, reminiscent of fresh bread and light honey. The middle is pleasantly spicy and fruity, supported by a gentle malt sweetness before transitioning into a clean, refreshing finish. It captures the essence of a classic Blanche, balancing delicate botanical accents with a highly drinkable, effervescent character.
Appearance. Color (2–4 SRM), very pale straw, significantly cloudy with a milky, whitish-yellow glow. Features a dense, white, moussy head with excellent retention and light lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring bready, grainy wheat malt with a hint of honey and vanilla. Prominent aromatics of perfumy-lemony coriander and zesty, citrusy Marionette bitter curacao orange peel dominate, complemented by subtle spicy yeast esters.
Taste. Initial zippy impression of citrus. Bready, grainy malt flavors provide a foundation for moderate orange fruitiness and herbal coriander spice. Hop bitterness is low, supporting the refreshing fruit and spice notes. Finishes refreshingly crisp and dry with no harsh aftertaste.
