Moersleutel Craft Brewery Coconut Wrecking Ball

Sometimes you need something bold, with a lot of impact. Like a wrecking ball. Or a coconut coffee stout. And bold we went. We received 200 kilos of perfectly toasted coconut flakes by Notenfabriek and soaked them for 45 days in our beer. This makes the beer almost salty, so intense is the coconut flavor and aroma. We combined the coconut with a blend of two different origin coffees: espresso beans from Costa Rica and Brasil. All Arabica of course, giving the coconut a beautiful stage to shine on.
