Moersleutel Craft Brewery

This high-gravity American Stout reinterprets the traditional style through the lens of a 'White Stout,' delivering a powerhouse of breakfast-inspired flavors. Expect a decadent olfactory experience dominated by aromatic coffee and rich chocolate, which cleverly masks the underlying pale grain bill. The intentional use of oats and breakfast cereals creates a remarkably creamy, full-bodied texture that carries the 9% alcohol with sophisticated smoothness. Despite its golden hue, the palate resonates with the roasted intensity of a traditional stout, balancing moderate hop bitterness with a lingering, sweet finish reminiscent of chocolate-covered espresso beans and toasted grain.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (6-9 SRM); thick, persistent, creamy white head with excellent lacing; hazy to nearly opaque due to the heavy use of oats and cereals.

Aroma. High intensity; dominant aromas of freshly roasted coffee and dark chocolate over a sweet, grainy base of oats and breakfast cereal; low resiny hop notes; subtle, clean alcohol warmth and faint esters.
