This plush Hazy IPA envelops the senses in a vibrant canopy of tropical and orchard fruits, heavily driven by massive additions of Citra and Sultana hops. The grist, featuring a soft foundation of oats and wheat, creates an inviting, opaque golden pour that delivers immediate, intense aromas of ripe pineapple, fleshy stonefruit, and bright citrus. On the palate, it unfolds like a fresh glass of tropical juice, balancing its rich, velvety malt softness with an incredibly approachable bitterness. The result is a wonderfully smooth, fruit-forward showcase that prioritizes luscious hop saturation over sharp bite, finishing with a clean, lingering nectar-like sweetness.
Appearance. Straw to medium gold with an attractive orange hue. Opaque, uniform haze that creates a luminous glow, free of sediment, yeast clumps, or floating hop matter. Crowned by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with outstanding retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High to intense aroma dominated by sweet tropical and citrus notes, showcasing prominent ripe pineapple, yellow peach, mango, and mandarin orange. Low, supportive, clean, bready, and doughy malt presence from the oats and wheat. Clean fermentation profile with supportive, subtle fruity esters; entirely free of grassy, herbal, or dank hop notes.
Taste. An immediate wave of intense, juicy fruit flavors echoing the aroma: fresh pineapple, fleshy stone fruit, and bright citrus. Low, soft, and slightly grainy malt flavor provides a solid backdrop. Perceived bitterness is low to medium-low, exceptionally smooth and integrated, with no harshness or hop burn. The finish is off-dry, soft, and clean, leaving a lingering, juice-like tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a pillowy, velvety, and incredibly smooth texture. Medium carbonation. Alcohol warmth is exceptionally low and well-integrated. Free of any raw starch texture, astringency, or acidic twang.
