This Double IPA showcases an assertive sensory profile driven by a potent dry-hop combination of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. The aroma leads with high-intensity notes of grapefruit pith, tropical mango, and a distinct resinous pine. A clean, neutral malt base allows these hop characteristics to dominate without the cloying sweetness often found in high-gravity ales. On the palate, the hop bitterness is firm yet refined, supported by a smooth, medium-bodied texture and a well-integrated alcohol presence reflecting its 8.5% strength. The experience concludes with a crisp, dry finish and a lingering citrus and evergreen aftertaste that invites another sip.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (8 SRM); moderate-sized, persistent white head with excellent lacing; mostly clear with a very faint, style-appropriate haze.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring grapefruit and lime from Citra, blueberries and tropical fruit from Mosaic, and a sharp, resinous pine character from Simcoe; low neutral grainy malt in the background; clean fermentation profile with a hint of alcohol.

Taste. Initial hop explosion of orange peel, mango, and resin; high bitterness that is smooth rather than harsh; minimal malt sweetness; dry finish with a long, clean, bitter and hoppy aftertaste; subtle, clean alcohol flavor.
