This Double IPA showcases a vibrant sensory interplay between two powerhouse hops: Citra and Nelson Sauvin. The profile opens with an intense bouquet of lime zest and passionfruit from the Citra, seamlessly layered with the distinctive gooseberry and white wine characteristics of Nelson Sauvin. A clean, neutral malt base provides just enough structure to support the 8.5% ABV without intruding on the hop-forward focus. The palate is defined by high bitterness that remains smooth, finishing dry with a lingering tropical and vinous aftertaste. It is a potent yet remarkably drinkable representation of the style, balancing intensity with a clean fermentation profile.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (8 SRM). Brilliantly clear with a moderate-sized, persistent, creamy off-white head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma. Pronounced notes of grapefruit, melon, and lychee from the Citra hops, complemented by a unique crushed-grape and gooseberry scent from the Nelson Sauvin. Background malt is subtle and cracker-like. Clean fermentation with a very light, smooth alcohol note.

Taste. Leading with powerful hop flavors of white grape, citrus rind, and passionfruit. Bitterness is firm and assertive but lacks harshness. Malt is low, providing a soft, bready support. The finish is very dry and clean, leaving a persistent resinous and fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost velvety texture. Moderate-high carbonation provides a crisp edge. A restrained, pleasant alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no astringency.
