This Double IPA showcases an intense hop profile driven by the combination of Strata, Citra, and Galaxy hops. The experience begins with a vivid bouquet of passion fruit and ripe mango, layered with Citra-led citrus zest and Galaxy’s signature tropical depth. Strata adds a complex dimension of fresh strawberry and a subtle herbal, resinous dankness. Despite its 8.5% ABV, the beer remains highly drinkable, featuring a lean, grainy malt backbone that allows the hops to remain the focal point. A firm bitterness cleanses the palate, leading into a dry, lingering finish that balances punchy fruit flavors with a smooth, well-integrated alcohol warmth.

Appearance. Pours a deep gold to pale orange (approx. 8 SRM) with slight hop haze. Features a moderate-sized, creamy white head with excellent persistence and intricate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma with dominant notes of passion fruit, mango, and grapefruit. Substantial secondary aromas of berry, melon, and a hint of dank resin. Malt is low and neutral, offering a clean, grainy sweetness in the background with no diacetyl.

Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical fruit and citrus oil. Hop flavors of pineapple, lime, and peach are prominent, supported by a soft, bready malt character. Bitterness is high but well-sculpted, lacking harshness. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a long-lasting, resinous hop aftertaste and a clean fermentation profile.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a crisp bite that accentuates the hop bitterness. A noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth is present without being hot or solventy.
