Center of Attention presents as a quintessential Hazy IPA, defined by its plush texture and vibrant hop saturation. Utilizing the powerhouse duo of Citra and Mosaic, the sensory profile explodes with layers of overripe mango, bright tangerine, and a distinct blueberry undertone. The experience is anchored by a soft, pillowy mouthfeel that carries these intense tropical notes across the palate with minimal friction. While the bitterness remains restrained to favor a juicy impression, a clean, bready malt backbone provides enough structure to balance the high-intensity fruit esters. The result is a smooth, aromatic experience that highlights the synergistic depth of these specific American hop varieties.
Appearance. Pours an opaque, glowing straw to pale gold (approx. 4 SRM) with a thick, meringue-like white head that demonstrates excellent retention and leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit notes of mango, passion fruit, and lychee, alongside bright citrus zest and a hint of stone fruit. A light, clean, bready malt character supports the hops, while neutral to slightly fruity fermentation esters are well-integrated.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with notes of pineapple, tangerine, and a subtle berry character. The malt flavor is low to medium, providing a soft, doughy foundation. Bitterness is low to medium-low and smooth, lacking any harshness or resinous bite. The finish is off-dry and clean with a lingering citrus aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture and a smooth, rounded mouthfeel. Carbonation is moderate. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, but there is no astringency or raw grain harshness.
