Modern Times Cosmic Rays is a dazzling Hazy IPA that floods the senses with an intensely tropical aura. Driven by a massive dry-hop charge, the coconut and cream-like nuances of Sabro combine with the bright, zesty tangerine of Citra and Ekuanot, while Simcoe grounds the profile with passion fruit and subtle pine. This hop-forward showcase presents a beautifully opaque, luminous appearance and a silky-smooth delivery. It balances lush, juice-like sweetness with a soft, pillowy mouthfeel, culminating in a low-bitterness, highly fruit-focused finish that lingers pleasantly without any harshness.

Appearance. Deep straw to light orange-yellow with a luminous, opaque, uniform haze that creates a vibrant shine. Crowned by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head that exhibits excellent retention and leaves thick, sticky lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Intense, punchy hop-forward aroma dominated by fresh-cut pineapple, bright tangerine, and a distinct, creamy coconut note. Backed by hints of ripe mango and passion fruit. Underneath the hop explosion lies a clean, low, bready malt presence and neutral fermentation esters, with zero yeast bite or harsh grassy notes.

Taste. An explosion of tropical fruit flavors, leading with juicy pineapple, sweet tangerine, and smooth coconut. Malt flavor is low, presenting as a clean, soft flour and bready base that supports the hop profile. Bitterness is low-to-medium, soft and beautifully integrated, preventing any cloying sweetness without being sharp. Finishes off-dry and exceptionally fruit-forward, with lingering notes of tropical juice.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full, incredibly soft, and pillowy body. Carbonation is moderate, lending a smooth, velvety texture without any prickly bite. Features a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and is devoid of astringency, chalkiness, or raw starch grit.
