This Hazy IPA showcases a vibrant southern hemisphere hop profile led by Nelson Sauvin, Moutere, and Kohatu. It pours with a characteristic opaque glow, releasing intense aromas of crushed white grapes, gooseberries, and tropical passionfruit. The palate is defined by a soft, pillowy texture that carries lush flavors of citrus zest and stone fruit, supported by a clean, bready malt base. With its restrained bitterness and juicy finish, the 6.5% ABV is exceptionally well-integrated, highlighting the biotransformation of New Zealand hop oils into a complex, fruit-forward experience typical of the New England style.

Appearance. Pours a deep straw to golden hue with a significant, persistent opaque haze that creates a luminous shine. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity and profoundly fruity. Distinctive notes of white wine, gooseberry, and crushed grapes from Nelson Sauvin are prominent, layered with tropical passionfruit and grapefruit from Moutere. A subtle lime and pine needle character from Kohatu adds depth. Malt is low, presenting as fresh bread and light grain. Clean fermentation with light fruity esters.

Taste. High-impact fruity hop flavor featuring dominant white grape, tropical pineapple, and zesty citrus. The malt flavor is low but supportive, tasting of light dough. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as soft and integrated, never sharp. The finish is off-dry and smooth, with a lingering juicy aftertaste of tropical fruit and a hint of resinous pine.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, plush, and rounded texture. Carbonation is moderate, enhancing the drinkability without being prickly. No hop burn or astringency is present; the alcohol provides a very gentle, integrated warmth.
