Mister B Brewery Boia
This modern take on a German Pils fuses classic European structure with a bold American twist. Brewed with Pilsner and Vienna malts alongside Vialone Nano rice flakes, it pours exceptionally crisp and dry. Bittering from Magnum hops sets a clean foundation, while dry-hopping with Columbus and Cascade introduces vibrant aromas of citrus, pine, and light resin. The palate is intensely dry, balancing a delicate, cracker-like maltiness with a sharp, refreshing bitterness. It finishes clean and incredibly bright, offering a brilliant cross-continental hybrid that elevates the classic lager experience with West Coast hop flair.
Appearance. Deep straw to pale gold with brilliant clarity and a dense, long-lasting, creamy white head that leaves excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high hop aroma showing prominent grapefruit, pine, and subtle herbal notes from Cascade and Columbus. Beneath the hops, a low doughy and lightly toasted malt character from Pilsner and Vienna malts provides a clean base, free of fermentation esters.
Taste. An initial crisp, cracker-like malt flavor is quickly overwhelmed by a firm, clean bitterness. Hop flavors of citrus peel, resin, and pine dominate the mid-palate. The finish is remarkably dry and clean, aided by Vialone Nano rice flakes, leaving a lingering, crisp bitterness and a clean, refreshing aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a very crisp, dry character. High carbonation provides a lively, refreshing sting on the tongue. Smooth with no harshness or astringency, and a very light, clean finish.
