Minera Avet Hefeweizen offers a refreshing alpine twist on the classic Weissbier style. This unfiltered wheat beer pours with a characteristic haze and a massive, moussy head. The sensory profile is defined by a traditional fermentation base of banana and clove, layered over a foundation of bready Pilsen malt and wheat. What distinguishes this brew is the addition of high-mountain fir resin, which provides a unique evergreen complexity that integrates with the fruity esters. The result is a medium-bodied beer with a subtle, characteristic wheat acidity and a clean, effervescent finish that balances forest-like aromatics with soft, doughy malt.

Appearance. Straw to deep gold (3-5 SRM). Hazy with a notable yeast shine and a very thick, long-lasting, moussy white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity. Strong presence of forest resin and spruce-like aromatics from the fir extract, which partially masks traditional yeast esters of banana and spicy clove. Low bready, grainy wheat notes and a hint of Pilsen malt sweetness provide a soft background.

Taste. Initial impression of soft wheat and grainy Pilsen malt. The mid-palate reveals a unique blend of banana and clove esters intertwined with persistent, resinous fir notes. Bitterness is very low, allowing a slight, refreshing acidity from the wheat to shine. The finish is relatively dry, clean, and highly drinkable, with a lingering evergreen aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a fluffy, creamy fullness that never feels heavy. High carbonation creates a spritzy, effervescent mouthfeel. Very light alcohol warmth is well-integrated.
