This collaboration between Mikkeller and Budějovický Budvar elevates the American Lager style through a focus on crisp, balanced drinkability. It pours a brilliant pale straw with a frothy white head. The aroma is light and clean, featuring soft grainy-sweet malt and a delicate floral spice from Saaz hops. On the tongue, the profile is neutral and well-attenuated, offering a subtle cracker-like maltiness and a faint herbal hop character. Low bitterness and high carbonation create a sharp, refreshing carbonic bite, leading into a bone-dry and thirst-quenching finish. It is a light-bodied, impeccably clean work of art.

Appearance. Pale straw (2-3 SRM). White, frothy head with low persistence and minimal lacing. Brilliant clarity.

Aroma. Low intensity. Clean, grainy-sweet malt aroma with a faint hint of crackers. Very light spicy and floral hop notes. Exceptionally clean fermentation profile with no esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial impression is crisp and neutral. Moderately-low grainy malt flavor with a touch of sweetness that quickly fades into a dry finish. Low hop bitterness. Hop flavor is subtle, presenting faint herbal and floral qualities. Aftertaste is short, clean, and refreshing.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a very high carbonation level that provides a noticeable carbonic bite on the tongue. Smooth and light, with no alcohol warmth or astringency.
