Mikkeller Running Club

Designed as a refreshing post-run reward, this American Pale Ale showcases a vibrant and clean sensory profile typical of Mikkeller’s precision. It opens with an inviting bouquet of citrus zest and floral highlights, underpinned by a lean, bready malt backbone. The palate is defined by a bright, hop-forward character—expect notes of grapefruit and subtle pine—balanced by a moderate bitterness that never overwhelms. Its dry finish and crisp carbonation make it exceptionally drinkable. The integration of neutral pale malts ensures the hops remain the focus, providing a revitalizing experience that remains balanced and light on its feet while staying true to the style's accessible nature.
Appearance. Deep gold color (6 SRM) with brilliant clarity. It features a moderately large, bright white head with good retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high hop intensity featuring notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, and a touch of pine. A low, neutral bready and grainy maltiness supports the hops, with very low fruity esters and a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward with flavors of citrus and resinous pine. A low malt presence provides notes of bread and light toast. The bitterness is moderate and clean, leading to a medium-dry finish where hop flavors linger without any harshness.
