Appearance. Medium gold (6 SRM) with a brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves moderate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity aroma dominated by American hop characteristics of zesty citrus, lemon peel, and light grapefruit. Supports by a low, clean, grainy maltiness. Fermentation profile is neutral and clean with no detectable esters.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with moderate citrus and zest flavors. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a light backbone without sweetness. Bitterness is moderate, balanced toward the hops but less aggressive than a standard strength IPA. Finishes crisp and dry with a lingering hoppy, citrusy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture and moderate-high carbonation. No alcohol warmth is perceived, and the finish is clean without astringency.
