Appearance. Pale golden to light amber (approx. 6 SRM). Displays a moderately large, white, creamy head with good retention and light lacing. Generally quite clear with a brilliant shimmer.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring classic American hop notes of grapefruit zest, resinous pine, and a hint of herbal spice. The malt character is low to moderate, providing a clean grainy-sweet and lightly bready scent from the Munich and Wheat malts. Fermentation is clean with negligible esters.
Taste. Initial impression is balanced between soft malt and a crisp bitterness. Flavors of toasted grain and biscuit from the Extra Pale and Munich malts are evident. Hop flavors follow the aroma with citrus and earthy pine. Moderate bitterness is well-integrated, leading to a medium-dry, clean finish with a short, refreshing aftertaste of citrus rind.
