This refreshing Witbier offers a vibrant twist on the classic Belgian style, perfectly tailored for warm summer days. The appearance is a signature hazy, pale straw hue topped by a voluminous, persistent white head. On the nose, traditional bready wheat malt and light spiciness are uplifted by a bright, zesty citrus profile from lemon peels and a tropical sweetness from the addition of pineapple juice. The palate is crisp and effervescent, balancing grainy malt flavors with a tangy fruit character that leads into a clean, dry finish. It is an exceptionally approachable and lively ale with minimal bitterness and high drinkability.
Appearance. Very pale straw color with a significant milky, whitish haze. Features an abundant, dense white moussy head with excellent retention.
Aroma. Moderate bready malt and grainy wheat aroma. The scent is dominated by zesty lemon peel and tropical pineapple juice, complemented by subtle herbal spice and low fruity esters.
Taste. Pleasant bready wheat malt flavor followed by bright, zesty lemon and a subtle tropical pineapple sweetness. Low hop bitterness allows the fruit and spices to shine. It concludes with a crisp, dry finish and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture from the wheat. High carbonation provides a prickly, effervescent mouthfeel that is highly refreshing. No alcohol warmth.
