Métaphore Be Kind is an elegant, session-strength Brett Beer, presenting a sophisticated profile derived from mixed fermentation and careful barrel aging. At a nimble 4% ABV, it opens with a vibrant bouquet of apricot and white peach esters, underpinned by a delicate rustic funk reminiscent of wet hay and aged leather. The barrel influence imparts a subtle woody structure and soft tannins without overshadowing the fermentation character. On the palate, it is exceptionally dry and effervescent, balancing bright citrus notes with a faint earthy complexity. The finish is crisp and clean, highlighting the mastery of the blend and the nuanced, fruity contribution of Brettanomyces.

Appearance. Pale straw to gold (3–5 SRM). Slight haze is present from the mixed fermentation. Features a frothy white head with fair retention and delicate lacing.

Aroma. Moderate-high intensity. Dominant fruity esters of tropical fruit and stone fruit (apricot, pineapple) are complemented by a developing funk of wet hay, earthy soil, and a touch of leather. Low malt character, primarily grainy and neutral. Subtle toasted oak and vanilla notes from the barrel aging provide background complexity.

Taste. Initial impression is bright and exceptionally dry. Malt flavor is low, presenting as crackery or wafer-like.
