Metalhead’s Wrong Side of Heaven captures the duality of its heavy metal namesake through a vibrant, sensory-rich Hazy IPA experience. At a sessionable 5% ABV, it presents an immediate, high-intensity aroma defined by a massive citrus explosion and deep tropical fruit notes. The appearance is classically hazy and opaque, supporting a thick, silky body that carries unexpected hints of banana esters alongside its hop-forward core. While the flavor is a saturated fruit riot, it remains remarkably balanced with a delicate, soft bitterness that ensures a clean, approachable finish, inviting the drinker back for another exploration of its complex, layered character.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold (4-6 SRM). Opaque and hazy with a characteristic shine. Features a thick, white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by fresh citrus zest and tropical fruit. Low bready, grainy malt character in the background. Noticeable but supportive fruity esters, including a distinctive hint of banana, which melds with the hop-derived fruitiness.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the citrus aroma. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness that is soft and never harsh. Low bready malt flavor provides a supportive backbone. Finish is off-dry to medium with a lingering, delicate fruity aftertaste and no alcohol heat.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, soft, and slightly thick texture. Medium carbonation. Lacks any astringency or harshness, providing a silky palate experience despite the low ABV.
