This Double IPA presents an intense aromatic tapestry woven from an aggressive blend of Citra, Citra Cryo, Rakau, and Nelson Sauvin. The addition of Nelson Sauvin Hop Kief amplifies the sensory experience, delivering punchy notes of passion fruit, crushed gooseberry, and white wine grapes alongside the signature vibrant grapefruit and lime zest of Citra. A subtle, soft malt backbone supports the massive hop presence, ensuring the high alcohol is seamlessly integrated. The palate is dominated by tropical stone fruit and a resinous citrus finish, characteristic of this modern collaboration. Each sip concludes with a clean, firm bitterness that invites another taste of this complex, fruit-forward ale.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (SRM 7-10). Displays a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with excellent lacing. While mostly clear, a slight chill haze is acceptable given the intensive dry-hopping.

Aroma. Intensity is high, dominated by New World hop characteristics including pink grapefruit, passion fruit, and a distinct vinous note. Secondary aromas of stone fruit and a hint of resinous pine emerge over a very low, clean, grainy-sweet malt background. Fermentation profile is clean with minimal esters.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical and citrus hop flavors, following the aroma with notes of gooseberry and melon. Malt flavor is low and supportive, providing a neutral breadiness. Bitterness is high but smooth, lacking harshness. The finish is dry to medium-dry, leaving a lingering hoppy and resinous aftertaste that remains clean.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate-high. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no hop-derived astringency or harshness.
