Appearance. Deep straw to pale gold with a consistent, opaque haze that imparts a luminous shine. A dense, meringue-like white head sits atop, demonstrating excellent retention and leaving intricate lacing as it recedes.
Aroma. High-intensity hop-forward aroma dominated by mango, passion fruit, and sweet orange. Underlying notes of pear and stone fruit emerge as the beer breathes. Malt is secondary, appearing as a clean, lightly bready backdrop. Fermentation esters are supportive and fruity, blending seamlessly with the tropical hop character.
Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical fruit flavors including pineapple and melon, complemented by a soft citrus zest. The malt provides a subtle, grainy sweetness that balances the hop intensity. Bitterness is restrained and smooth, never harsh or lingering. The finish is soft and slightly off-dry, with a persistent aftertaste of juicy fruit.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Carbonation is moderate, providing a gentle lift to the palate. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated at 6.5%. The texture is smooth and creamy, devoid of astringency or hop burn.
