At 10% ABV, it balances a robust, bready malt backbone with the assertive bitterness and resiny hop character typical of the style. The inclusion of cherries introduces a subtle tartness and stone-fruit complexity that leans into a surprisingly dry, effervescent finish reminiscent of a natural sparkling wine. The result is a festive, warming ale where the rich, toasty malt depth meets a refined, fruity acidity, making it a contemplative yet lively sipper.
Appearance. Deep copper with distinct ruby highlights from the cherry addition; clear to brilliant clarity with noticeable legs. The off-white head is moderately low with fair retention, typical of a high-gravity ale.
