Despite its lean 3.5% ABV, it presents a punchy sensory profile defined by vibrant, bright citrus hops that dominate the nose with notes of grapefruit and lemon zest. Appearance. Medium gold (SRM 6) with brilliant clarity. It is topped by a medium-sized, bright white head with good persistence and delicate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity citrus hop aroma featuring grapefruit, orange peel, and a hint of lemon. Behind the hops lies a low, clean, grainy-sweet malt presence. Fermentation is very clean with no significant esters.
Taste. The initial impression is hop-forward with flavors of citrus zest and pith. The malt flavor is low, presenting as clean cracker or fresh grain. Bitterness is moderate but firm, providing a sharp contrast to the light malt. The finish is dry and very clean, with a lingering citrusy and bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Medium-high carbonation provides a refreshing prickle on the tongue. No alcohol warmth or astringency is present.
