Taste. Initial impression of rich, bittersweet chocolate and dark roasted grains. The mid-palate reveals the holiday influence through zesty citrus and dark fruit flavors like sultanas. Bitterness is moderate but firm, balancing the residual malt sweetness. The finish is lingering with roasted grain and a touch of vinous fruitiness.
