This American IPA delivers a vibrant sensory experience inspired by the coastal 'Angler’s El Dorado.' A lean, bright malt base is accented by a subtle, spicy touch of rye, allowing a complex hop profile to dominate. Late additions of Nectaron and Idaho 7 provide deep layers of stone fruit and tropical resin, while dry-hopping with Talus and Nelson Sauvin introduces nuanced notes of pink grapefruit, dried roses, and crushed white grapes. The result is a tantalizingly nuggety brew with a crisp, balanced bitterness that remains clean on the palate. Its refreshing, hop-forward character captures the essence of a sun-drenched Northland afternoon.

Appearance. Brilliantly clear and bright gold with a thick, persistent white head that leaves delicate lacing as it recedes.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma led by stone fruit and passionfruit from Nectaron, supported by piney and tropical pineapple notes from Idaho 7. Subtle floral and sage-like herbal accents from Talus emerge alongside the distinctive gooseberry scent of Nelson Sauvin. A clean, neutral malt background is punctuated by a faint, peppery rye spice.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of tropical and citrus fruit. Medium-high hop bitterness is firm but clean, never harsh. A lean malt profile provides a crisp foundation, while the rye adds a light, grainy complexity and dry snap to the finish. Hop flavors mirror the aroma, showcasing zesty grapefruit and peach. The aftertaste is lingeringly hoppy and refreshingly dry.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with a smooth, slightly oily hop texture. Carbonation is moderate to high, enhancing the beer's crispness. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but subtle.
